Have you ever heard of heating and AC air purification systems? Do you know how they work? I know how they work because I have first-hand experience with them. If you don’t know anything about them I’ll tell you about them and why you should consider getting one. So first of all if you’ve ever had someone in your household that has allergies and your purification system is a really great unit to have. This is because depending on what sort of air purification system you have, they all work to do one thing and that’s to improve your indoor air quality. Thankfully there are a lot of indoor air purification systems that are available on the market. So you have things like your HEPA filters, your UV light filters, your standing air purifiers and if you really want to go over the top you can even get yourself a whole home air purification system. However, I would advise a yes whole home air purification system is not because they don’t work but just because for most households they’re unnecessary and they’re crazy expensive. If you’re going to get one of those plans, spend thousands of dollars on not only the expensive unit but then a very expensive installation. Thankfully, most people do not need to use something as crazy as a whole home air purification system. For the vast majority of us something like a HEPA filter or a air purifier will work just fine. If I was to personally recommend one I would say to go with a HEPA filter, this is because HEPA filters are very specialized filters and are used even in places like hospitals and other places that need to have a very high level of sanitization to prevent the spread of disease. This is just because of the way these filters are made. They really are designed to catch the tiniest pieces of particles and bacteria that might otherwise be in your air contaminating your home. So if you have really bad air quality or if you know someone with allergies go ahead and get yourself a HEPA filter. It can’t do any harm and we’ll only do lots of good.
