I often go to service AC units at apartments.
When there is no certified Heating, Ventilation and A/C service person on the staff and crew, it is necessary to call a service corporation. I have several weird home buildings that I respectfully service. Last weekend, I went to help a guy with an a/c problem. I was particular that the issue with the a/c was going to be frozen evaporator coils. The guy said that the a/c was blowing hot air and there was water on the carpet in front of the closet where the AC unit is located. When I knocked on the door of the apartment, I heard a bunch of guys start to transport around. I heard voices and lots of things being shuffled. I finally got someone to open the door after 2 or 3 minutes and too aggressive knocks on the door. The guys opened the home and the arena smelled like marijuana. The smell of marijuana was strong, but I entirely didn’t care. I also use recreational marijuana products. I told the guys that I entirely wasn’t interested in what they were doing in the apartment. They could happily continue with their corporation while I ran tests on the AC machine. It didn’t take unquestionably long for me to remove the ice from the coils. I keep a hair dryer in my work tool bag for this unquestionably purpose. It’s unquestionably entirely easy for a homeowner to fix this complication if they have a hair dryer too, however you need to melt the ice on the coils and then you can restart the machine.
