When I get a call from an apartment, one of the first questions that I ask is whether or not the tenant has a pet. I’ve had a lot of pets sneak up on me in the past and I was bit once. I recently had a call when I almost got bit by a guy’s pet however he was there. The pet was in the family room and I was in the hallway. The pet seemed to be unquestionably well behaved. He wagged his tail when I came through the door with all of my tools. The pet sat in the family room while I ran tests on the a/c repair, but everything seemed good until I was getting ready to leave. The pet lunged at me and tried to bite my arm. The owner of the pet stopped him in time, but I was pretty scared at that moment. I never would say that out loud to everyone, but I absolutely thought the pet was going to tear my arm off, after the owner got a hold of the pet, he seemed much more calm. I got out of that home as rapidly as I could after the service was finished.
