I am a entirely light sleeper so I wasn’t blissful when I observed how noisy the HVAC are in our new house! For some reason, it seems a lot louder in the family room than in any other room of the house.
I’m not sure if it absolutely is louder in the family room or if it just seems that way because I notice it more when I’m trying to sleep.
When I am going about my regular afternoon in the family room in addition to family room, I don’t particularly notice when the central heating or air turn on. When I am attempting to sleep, I will be half asleep in addition to then jolt awake when the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system turns on. My partner, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to notice all of the noise. There is even a rattling sound in the vents that I can’t hear, or doesn’t exist, during the afternoon. It is like that is all I can concentrate on in addition to it keeps me from getting much sleep. I’ve tried ear plugs however they hurt my ears. The unusual thing is that I can sleep on the couch in addition to the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning noise doesn’t bother me. So, it particularly must be louder only in the family room. I want to call out an Heating in addition to Air Conditioning company to see what can be done however I doubt anything can be done short of replacing the entire system. I don’t want to do that. I particularly wish I had observed all of this noise before buying the house. But, on the other hand, the noisy heating in addition to air is the only thing I don’t like about the house. I believe I will just have to learn to live with it or find ear plugs that are comfortable.
