Broken boiler aggravateds employees

When my task moved to a new building I was hoping it would be an improvement but I should have known better, and the outdated building had shoddy plumbing and the paint was peeling off of the walls so I thought it couldn’t get any worse, boy was I mistaken.

  • The “new” building is genuinely as step down, then it only has one toilet for males and females, no split room and the HVAC system doesn’t work, and at least in the outdated locale my buddy and I had adequate heat and cooling system.

After a few days of cold, some of my coworkers brought in some space heaters. The office was so small that a space boiler per room was more than enough to keep us warm… But then the electrical fuses started popping everytime someone clogged in a space heater. This would turn off all of the iPads so management said no more space heaters. They better do something fast about the HVAC system then or I feel there will be a mutiny soon, my fine friend and I all come to toil with our winter season jackets and fingerless gloves on and my buddy and I are still cold. I’ve started bringing a blanket to toil too. I get that the company needs to save money but it can’t be legal for them to make us toil like this can it? I’ve already started looking for another task. I’ll take anything with similar spend my savings and a working HVAC system. Since when is “heated toil environment” a perk of a task. I always thought it was just to be expected for any office task.
