Our heating plus cooling system really needed to be updated, we’d been researching the whole HVAC thing for quite awhile plus finally selected the corporation to do the job.
They were good about giving us literature about what to expect before, while in, plus after the replacement. First they commanded that we move anything away from the part where the work would be done. They had limited liability regarding homeowners’ possessions being detrimentd by the installers! And they knew that we have a cat, so they commanded that we keep him away from the workers while in the process. They gave us the names plus background of the three guys that would be doing the replacement, stating that all of their work would be warrantied. Of course the outdated system had to be disfastened first, so they would need access to all of the areas of the home where the HVAC equipment was housed, however my friend and I were told to expect additional time if the existing air duct needed repair and/or updatement, plus that one or two of the workers would begin that process while the lead installer would be assembling the HVAC equipment. The workers would install components such as the temperature control, drain lines, evaporator, compressors, plus on plus on the list went. The literature noted that there was consistently a occasion of unforeseen circumstances, such as replacing rotten wall studs or drywall repairs. Finally, pressure plus vacuum tests would be performed, along with several other mandated testing. At the completion of the replacement, we should expect the corporations to go over the complete operation of the system with us. At that point, we could appreciate the benefits of a comfortable home for several years to come.
