My adolescents were gleeful about moving to the cottage in the province, they had lost their dad and my hubby a few months back and my fine friend and I all missed so much, however one of his final wishes was for us to live in the farm house where he grew up as a kid, then he had wanted us to transfer together but unfortunately he didn’t manage to beat the cancer that he had battled for 5 years, however with almost everyone yearning for a current life, and a chance to reattach with him, the adolescents and I agreed to transfer at the end of the college year! My hubby’s parents were still alive and they were eager to have us transfer with them.
They had wanted this for so long but medical commitments plus college had pushed us to postpone each time; SInc the time was right, my fine friend and I packed our remaining belongings that I had not sold and happily moved back to the province. The first agenda was to have Mr. Stone, the town’s oldest Heating, Ventilation and A/C business owner, send his team of Heating, Ventilation and A/C techs to examine the old Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. My associate and I had already discussed how my fine friend and I would be replacing the old boiler and cooling system with a current unit. My adolescents are too sensitive to weather change and this was something I could not compromise on. My inlaws were supportive and even helped me with the negotiations. WIthin the first week, the house had a current Heating, Ventilation and A/C system installed and the Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit worked perfectly. When it is not too chilly though, my fine friend and I use the old wood stove as this gives us a sense of togetherness when my fine friend and I gather around the fireplace.
