My kids were gleeful about moving to the chalet in the province… They had lost their dad & my spouse a few months back & my pal and I all missed so much, and one of his final wishes was for us to live in the farm home where he grew up as a kid.
He had wanted us to transport together but unfortunately he didn’t manage to beat the cancer that he had battled for 5 years, and with everyone yearning for a current life, & a chance to reaffix with him, the kids & I agreed to transport at the end of the year; My spouse’s parents were still alive & they were eager to have us transport with them.
They had wanted this for so long but medical commitments & school had pushed us to postpone each time, however sInc the time was right, my pal and I packed our remaining belongings that I hadn’t sold & happily moved back to the province. The first agenda was to have Mr. Stone, the town’s oldest Heating & A/C company owner, send his team of Heating & A/C techs to examine the old Heating & A/C system. We had already discussed how my pal and I would be replacing the old boiler & air conditioner with a modern unit. My kids are too sensitive to weather change & this was something I could not compromise on. My inlaws were supportive & even helped me with the negotiations. WIthin the first week, the home had a current Heating & A/C system installed & the Heating & A/C device worked perfectly. When it isn’ttoo frosty though, my pal and I use the old wood stove as this gives us a sense of togetherness when my pal and I gather around the fireplace.
