I have a major pet peeve when it comes to the air filter of my central heating and a/c. I have to change the air filter at least once a month. Even if it seems as if it does not need to be changed, I change the air filter of my central heating and a/c anyhow. The reason I feel I must do this is because the air quality can benefit highly in your home from it. Having unbelievable air quality in your home is legitimately important and plays an unbelievable part in your indoor comfort. And they way I look at it, because I always buy different brand air filters all of the time (whatever is on sale), you never know the quality of that air filter in terms of lifespan, so I think it is better to be safe than sorry and just change that air filter of the central heating and a/c device at least once a month! If you do that no matter how awful or unbelievable the air filters you buy are, it will guarantee that you will always have unbelievable air quality coming out of your central heating as well as A/C device without the need of having a whole home air cleaner! Of course, keeping your home scrub helps air quality as well. But the air filter of your central heating as well as a/c plays a greater part in your indoor air quality than you will even imagine or know!
