I have lived in the same state my entire life.
It is in the southern part of the country and I love that the weather is hot all year round; Growing up I could not ever imagine that I would transfer away from this paradise that I call home.
I love the year round summer time weather and I don’t know if I would make it in a colder temperature, and well that was put to the test when I was provided a job many states away. It was an amazing opportunity and I would have been a fool to turn it down! So I made the decision to transfer out of my summer time paradise up to a colder northern state. I didn’t even own a usual winter time sweater when I moved, although I knew that was going to have to change legitimately soon. I had to buy all new winter time clothes and a space heater for my new apartment. I didn’t realize that many of the condo building in my new city didn’t have a central Heating and A/C system. Most of the occupants had their own space furnaces and window cooling systems. I was used to central air conditioning where I came from so this absolutely was a shock to me. I also wasn’t prepared for how cold it entirely got in the middle of the winter. I had only seen snow once before in my life. I have now lived in my new city for about a year now and I have absolutely come a long way. I have started to savor buildings with a usual Heating and A/C system more as I have to rely on my space heater to keep me warm.
