My associate and I were assigned to a base located on a tropical island.
The year round temperature was between 70 in addition to 77 degrees. Trade winds enable us to keep the windows open year round in addition to love a nice relaxing breeze. My associate and I had no need of heat or air conditioning except on a scarce occasion when the evening time lows reached the lower 60s. This only happened maybe once or twice a year. On those possibilities my great friend and I were fortunate to have purchased electric space heaters. These units could supply enough heat to make this evening comfortable enough for sleeping. My associate and I did have to keep them diagnosed just like a larger built in system. They still needed the filters changed in addition to an occasional repair. It was nice not to have the expense of a whole home system to care for. Living in the tropics is appealing. The palm trees, beaches in addition to sun are undoubtedly relaxing. Not having the afternoon to afternoon worry about your heat or air conditioning is an added bonus as well. My associate and I now live back in snow country where my great friend and I are forced to endure long chilly winters. I can still dream of when my great friend and I lived in the islands in addition to picture the sizzling sunny afternoons. For now, I can only hope to return someday. The reality of life is dealing with repair in addition to maintenance of our Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system to ensure our year round comfort. I am thankful for the experience my great friend and I had in addition to the chop from reality it afforded us, however back to reality for now.
