We regularly have amazing trips camping & fishing, however this time my buddy and I were hit with a real curveball.
We regularly go white water rafting, fishing, snorkeling & whatever else my buddy and I can do to beat the heat & kill time in the summer.
We love this old apartment complex my buddy and I stay at in the mountains, it’s secluded! There is an old pool, & an old lodge with very old appliances. There is a noisy heater, & an even noisier air conditioning. The old structure, maybe a hundred or two years old was very fantastic to us & kept us cool in the summer time after long hiking mornings. We have memories of superb parties here in both the winter season & the boiling summer. I didn’t know much about boilers or Heating, Ventilation, & A/C units, although I knew that fixing them both took time & tools, and about three mornings into our trip it came clear to us that the air conditioning just would not turn back on. It was the middle of the summer time & my buddy and I had to do something, or else my buddy and I would be forced to sleep outside by the water. We didn’t bring any fans & it was still around 90 degrees each night. Three mornings later after calling a few companies my buddy and I got the air conditioning fixed, & I started regularly bringing a fan with me. We had sunlight lotion, towels, water & everything else however my buddy and I just did not expect the appliances to break, looking back, they were so old & noisy that my buddy and I should have known the heating & cooling units wouldn’t last.
