You mean there isn’t AC in the cabin?

My daughter invited her father and I to go on a family vacation with her.

There were to be eight of us, and she rented a cottage by a lake so we could all go fishing.

She couldn’t believe how cheap it was to rent the cottage. It boasted four bedrooms, a hot tub, and a newly remodeled game room. The rent for the week was $1500, and we were all excited. When we got to the cottage, we realized why it was so cheap. Although the cottage was beautiful and spacious, it didn’t have air conditioning. I wanted to call the rental company and see if they had air conditioning, but needed special directions on how to turn it on. Luckily, it was supposed to be cool that week, so we opted not to talk to anyone at the rental office. I had to admit that I felt bad for my granddaughter and her husband. They ended up in an inside bedroom that didn’t have windows. Without air conditioning, I was afraid it was going to be miserable for them, but that wasn’t the case. My granddaughter got up and told us she hadn’t slept so well in a long time. Once they figured out they had ductless air conditioning in the bedroom they slept quite comfortably. We were now looking for the ductless air conditioning units in every room of the house. No one thought to look toward the ceiling for HVAC units. Two days into our vacation, we were glad Sandy had found the ductless HVAC. It was almost ninety degrees outside.
